The Orione ankle brace apply a homogeneous support action on the articulations, they are advised in case of distortions, instability or post-operative rehabilitation.
The Orione ankle brace with 2-sides foam cushions consists of an outer plastic shell, very light and durable, and internal self-modelling paddings that adapt to the limb.
The double-sided ankle brace allows a practical adjustment of the width of the heel and circumference of the tibia with Velcro straps.

CHARACTERISTICS:
Anatomical external shell in extremely lightweight and durable plastic.
Interior padding available in two versions:
· Article 470: Double-side air cushions, inflatable according to needs
· Article 471: Double-sided mouldable foam pads.
WARNINGS:
For proper use, please contact medical staff and/or a specialist for choosing the correct model, size, method and time of use.
Beware the medical device is not sterile. Do not place in contact with damaged skin.
Do not use creams or ointments in direct contact with the device.
Do not change the structure of the device to maintain its functioning.
The materials used for the construction of the device exclude, in most known cases, the occurrence of side effects.
In case of any side effects, stop using the device and consult your personal physician.
WEAR:
1. Fully open the two straps on the tibia and position the cushions inside the structure.
The narrowest part of the padding must fit over the narrowest part of the pillows in plastic. WARNING: for Ref. 470, before placing the padding, proceed to point A (below).
2. Adjust the width of the heel using the two straps placed at the base of the shells. The adjustment is made by sliding them in the two lower slots of the shells.
3. Secure the two shells against the ankle closing the lower tibia strap first, without tightening.
4. Wear shoe.
5. Close the upper tibia strap.
6. Check the tension and eventually adjust it again. You should feel a right grip and support, without creating obstacles to the bloodstream. Following the reduction of the swelling, the adhesion of the ankle may vary. In this case, readjust the straps.
POINT A – Ref. 470 with air cushion.
The two cushions should be slightly inflated by inserting the tube into the groove provided in the upper part.
Slightly inflate depending on the need and keep the tube (it is used to inflate and deflate the cushions).
The first inflation may require some adjustments depending on individual cases.
